Granö Beckasin is an unusual destination by a mighty river in the deep forests of Northern Sweden, about one hour from Umeå. Enjoy one of the guided tours on snow mobile, snowshoes, or wooden skis, and experience the magic of nature and the winter landscape.

Join a guided tour on wooden skis! In the next village over, our neighbours and friends make unique wooden skis – Tegsnässkidan. Forget skate models, illuminated tracks and lycra. This guided ski tour has a different purpose – to be in nature and discover the fairytale winter forest. The pace is slow and pleasant.

Equipment and Clothing
Tegsnäs wooden skis and ski poles are included. You will need to wear your own winter boots with these skis. Dress warmly in layers. We recommend a wool base layer, a windproof winter jacket, insulated ski trousers, two pairs of wool socks, and comfortable winter boots. Also, you need to bring a wool hat, gloves or mittens, and a scarf or balaclava on particularly cold days. Bring a water bottle and a camera.
