Terms & Conditions

GENERAL

  • By registering and/or attending to Scandinavian Shuffle 2026 (event) you agree on all these terms and conditions.

PAYMENT CONDITIONS

  • How to register and pay?
    Register by ordering tickets via our web shop. Our payment processors are Stripe and PayPal. After successful payment, an email confirming the completion of your registration will be sent to your email address.

  • Can I cancel my registration?
    We have a no refund and no returns policy. If you cannot attend the event after all, you can sell your tickets.

  • Can I sell my ticket? 

    You may transfer your pass to someone else with the same dance role. If you do so, let us know by email the contact details of the new ticket holder. While you are allowed to transfer your pass to someone else, please note that we do not take any responsibility for issues that may arise during the reselling/transferring process. Additionally, please be cautious of fake accounts on social media claiming to sell passes. Always verify the authenticity of the buyer or seller before completing any transaction. While we can assist by verifying that the full names and emails match our records, it is your responsibility to manage all other aspects of the transfer. Buying tickets for purely re-selling purposes is prohibited.

TIME, LOCATION & PROGRAM

  • We reserve the right to change the time or location or the program of the dance evenings and daytime activities, and will communicate any changes on the website and/or Facebook event page.

Photography & Videography

  • You consent to having your photograph / video taken during the event and published.

  • By attending to the event you agree to pictures and video being made, shared and used on social media and for our own marketing purposes. If you for some reason don't want this, email us with a picture of yourself so we can give the photo to the photographer and they will take those pictures out after the event. You may still be photographed at the event since its easier logistically.

Liability

  • All participants are attending the event at their own risk.

  • The event does not take any responsibility for incidents and/or injuries nor for personal items or valuables that are lost, stolen or damaged during the event. Look out for yourself and for others as well please.

PERSONAL DATA

  • By registering for the event, you consent to your information being stored and used for matters regarding the event.

  • The event website uses cookies and other activity tracking methods that may be used for analytics, marketing, and other purposes.

Code of conduct

  • Please read Code of conduct. Any person causing disruption may be asked to leave from the event with no refund.

Code of conduct

Everyone should feel safe, comfortable, respected, and in control of their autonomy at all times. Therefore,  we expect all our participants to follow this basic Code of Conduct.

We do not accept any form of harassment, crime, violence, or safety-threatening behavior. The organizers reserve the right to expel a participant in case of misconduct without a refund.

Please respect each others, their choices, and their preferences. Be considerate. Avoid dangerous stunts on a dance floor. Don’t bully and don’t harass. Help others in need.

Additionally, please be on time on activities.

If you see unaccepted behavior, please speak up. You can always contact event staff.

If someone is breaking the law, contact legal authorities, and in emergencies call the Finnish emergency number 112.
